The Bandra launch is the first step in a pan-India expansion with upcoming outlets in Chembur, Bengaluru and Visakhapatnam.

K-Bites, the Korean street-food quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand from Ambros World Foods, has marked its Mumbai debut with the launch of its first outlet on Hill Road, Bandra. The opening signals the brand's entry into Mumbai's highly competitive casual dining and QSR segment.
Made-to-Order Korean Menu at Rs 450-500: What's on Offer
The Bandra outlet operates on a made-to-order, quick-meal and takeaway-focused format. The menu is curated to make Korean cuisine more accessible for everyday consumption, featuring popular dishes like Miso Ramen, Khimchi Noodles, Bao, K House Special Rice and Bibimbap.
The brand has positioned itself at an average price point of Rs 450–Rs 500 per person. This pricing strategy aims to move Korean food beyond premium, occasion-based dining and drive higher frequency through smaller meals, quick-service convenience and casual visits, targeting neighbourhood residents, students and Gen Z diners.
Experience-Led QSR Design and Takeaway-First Format
The K-Bites Bandra outlet features an experience-led QSR design to reflect authentic Korean street culture. The interiors include Korean lettering, graphic walls, lanterns, warm lighting, an open kitchen concept and an open counter, complemented by outdoor seating.
The outlet format also emphasizes takeaway convenience with specially designed packaging, including Corn Dog boxes and Fryo Towers, catering to the growing demand for on-the-go consumption.
Ambros World Foods' Expansion Plan: Chembur, Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam Next
For co-founders Miten Shah and Abhilash Menon of Ambros World Foods, the Bandra launch is the starting point for a larger national rollout. The company has confirmed upcoming K-Bites outlets in Chembur, Bengaluru and Visakhapatnam as part of its strategy to build a pan-India presence for the brand.
The expansion comes at a time when Korean cuisine is gaining strong traction in India. With QSR and casual dining formats making international cuisines more affordable and accessible, K-Bites is betting on a focused cuisine proposition combined with quick service, takeaway convenience and repeat neighbourhood consumption to scale.
